Consultant in Palliative Medicine
This is an exciting time to join Isabel Hospice as we work to extend our services to many more people. If you are ambitious and want to make a difference, taking the lead in providing excellent medical care to our patients then we want to hear from you.
Isabel Hospice is a highly respected local charity with deep roots in the community which it has served for over 35 years. Providing a wide range of care and support to people with life limiting illnesses and their families, we have cared for 1,555 patients across all of our services during the last year alone. Our services are leading edge; enabling people to access the support and care they need to live well for as long as possible and die with dignity in the place of their choice.
Our vision is of a world where:
Communities talk openly about death and dying. Everyone lives life to the full and dies with dignity in the place of their choice knowing their loved ones are supported
We are seeking a Consultant to join us and to work collaboratively with our team and to provide leadership and support as we develop new services.
We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in palliative care and managing a broad range of medical conditions including non-malignant disease with the sensitivity to deal with the differing needs of a diverse range of patients and to deliver the appropriate treatment and support.
