Applications are invited for a Consultant General Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Colorectal Surgery based at a busy District General Hospital in Suffolk.

The advertised post is a substantive appointment and the successful appointee will join four existing colorectal cancer Consultant Surgeons. The services provided include the diagnosis and treatment of the full range of colorectal disease as well as the management of the acute on-call service.

This new post has been created to meet the increasing needs of the colorectal cancer and emergency general surgical services.

Candidates should be on the GMC Specialist Register for General Surgery or be eligible for entry (within six months of attaining Certificate of Completion of Training) at the time of interview.
