Applications are invited for the post of LAT Specialty Registrar in Cardiology & GIM to start 4th February 2020 for 6 months. This post will be based in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate to get an introduction in to Cardiology Speciality training in a very friendly DGH environment, with the added bonus of being in an area of unparalleled natural beauty from which to do many outdoor leisure activities including mountain-biking, hill-walking and skiing.
We are looking for candidates who hold full MRCP (UK) and have existing experience at CMT2 level or above, preferably, but not necessarily in Cardiology.
The post has approval from the Scotland Deanery and therefore could be recognised towards higher specialist training if wished. This position will involve GIM on-call. NHS Highland department of Cardiology in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness is able to offer clinical expertise in many aspects of cardiovascular disease management.
The post will be clinically supported by the five Consultant Cardiologists in Raigmore.
