Locum Consultant General Surgeon with an interest in Emergency General Surgery (EGS), Generl Ambulatory and Benign Upper GI/HPB Surgery. An opportunity has arisen for a fixed-term 12-month locum appointment for a Consultant General Surgeon (10 PAs per week) to join the Tayside-wide Regional General Surgery Service
The post is based at Ninewells Hospital & Medical School with further sessions at Perth Royal Infirmary and Stracathro Hospital
The post holder will join a dynamic team of general surgeons that provide secondary and tertiary care for all common Upper GI and HPB conditions, and also contribute to the regional emergency general surgery services
This post will have a major commitment to the EGS service at Ninewells hospital, and this surgeon will also contribute to the benign biliary, and ambulatory general surgery services
This 12-month fixed term appointment is available from 1st January 2020
