We are seeking a ST3+ Trust Doctor in Gastroenterology to join a dynamic, motivated and innovative team within the Gastroenterology Department at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

The post is available immediately, and applicants must hold full GMC registration and must have achieved CT2 level competencies or equivalent. Previous experience of Gastroenterology is desirable.

The Gastroenterology Department provides services to a local population of approximately 650,000, with tertiary services (including UGI and HPB cancer services, viral hepatitis treatment, TIPSS and advanced endoscopy) offered to the rest of East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.

The successful candidate will be expected to be a part of 5 specialist registrars and 3 staff grades. Outpatient clinical activities are conducted at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital while the inpatient ward is based at HRI only. Participating in General medical on call at the registrar level is required.

Doctors who are not UK or EEA nationals and whose immigration status entitles them to work without restriction in the UK will be considered on an equal basis with UK and EEA nationals. Other non-UK or non-EEA nationals with limited leave to remain in the UK and whose employment will require Tier 2 sponsorship are subject to the Resident Labour Market Test RLMT.
