We wish to appoint a Consultant Senior Lecturer Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join the Centre for Academic Mental Health based in Population Health Sciences within Bristol Medical School (BMS) in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Bristol. The clinical service commitment will be based at 2gether NHS Foundation Trust.
This new post represents an exciting opportunity for a talented academic psychiatrist, with a significant national research reputation in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, to join a well-established team of researchers within a leading centre for population health sciences. Population Health Sciences at the University of Bristol has an outstanding track record in public health, epidemiological and health services research, and provides a stimulating environment for academics at all stages of their careers.
The post is available on 80% basis.
The successful applicant will have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant topic, a track record of high-quality publications, will be included on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT in child and adolescent psychiatry (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview) and will be a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
