Consultant post – The Royal London Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital

We are recruiting a Consultant post to fill an upcoming vacancy in one of our hospital palliative care teams.  There has been significant investment in the Specialist Palliative Care Service at Barts Health and this post joins a group of consultants who all work across two teams or services.  We are looking for a doctor who wants to be part of shaping the service to meet the needs of our diverse community in east London.

Barts Health covers five sites, St Bartholomew’s Hospital (SBH), The Royal London Hospital (RLH), Mile End Hospital (MEH), Whipps Cross University Hospital (WXH) and Newham University Hospital (NUH). St Bartholomew’s Hospital has major Cancer and Cardiac Centres. The Royal London Hospital has a major trauma centre and the tertiary services associated with it.

This post is based between the Royal London and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals.  The successful appointee will join the team that covers both sites and will have opportunity to develop links with various clinical areas.
