Senior Hip and Knee Fellow
Senior Clinical and Research Fellow in Hip and Knee Surgery at University College London Hospitals and The Princess Grace Hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for senior trainees to undertake research and clinical work under the primary supervision of Professor Fares Haddad. The post is initially for 12 months, but can be extended if the incumbent wishes to complete a higher degree.
The main focus of the role will primarily be in lower limb arthroplasty including robotic surgery and sports surgery. There will be access to a weekly operating list at UCLH with exposure to both simple and complex primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty cases in a busy unit.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake clinical and operative work at senior fellow level. Working alongside a dedicated team of research fellows and playing an integral role in service delivery, the successful candidates will enjoy a multitude of research opportunities and be expected to produce high quality research for peer reviewed publication and national/
international presentations. The job has a great track record for both academic and clinical research with previous Fellows achieving over ten presentations/ publications per year.
