We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic paediatrician to join our team. You will be supporting the delivery of our services within the West Child Development Centre, the Integrated service for Children with Additional Needs (ICAN). Here at Leeds Community Healthcare (LCH), we are working in partnership with Leeds City Council, primary care, education, third sector and other services to be the best city in the UK for children and young people to grow up in.

Central to our service philosophy and approach is placing the child and family at the centre of delivery of care.

The workload is busy, but the environment is one of support, as well as having a sense of enjoyment and job satisfaction. We have a strong programme of Quality Improvement, Continuing Professional Development and development of medical leadership.

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Consultant Paediatrician   to a new post developed following retirement and changes in working patterns to expand our team of Community Paediatricians:

Part time Consultant Community Paediatricians (0.8 PA) West (Wortley Beck) Child Development Centre

The post holder will contribute to the Paediatric neurodisability service and the Community Paediatric clinics within the West of the city, as well as contributing to the development of pathways within the paediatric audiological medicine service. The post holder will also contribute to the daytime Community Child Protection rota.

The post holder will play an important role in supporting the specialist training of paediatric trainees and will contribute to the under graduate teaching programme.
