Based in the East of England our Trust has two sites for Respiratory Medicine one at Peterborough City Hospital and a further one in Hinchingbrooke Hospital and we have opportunities across both sites. We are developing collaborative working to provide a high level of care for our patients.

You will join a team of four Consultants who have expertise in the treatment of ILD, TB, Infection and Lung Cancer.

We are keen to engage staff who have a variety of skills to ensure we continue to develop as a team and provide to our patient group.

Our respiratory services has inpatient services on a 35 bedded ward on the Peterborough site (B12) and a 30 bedded ward (Walnut) at Hinchingbrooke. We have a dedicated respiratory Nurse service. We also provide shared care with the regional centres for Cystic Fibrosis, Pulmonary hypertension and ILD.

London, Stanstead and Luton are all within easy travelling distance from our hospitals which are surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty. So if you’d like to see our services, discuss your ideas or simply meet our team we can arrange a shadow shift so that all of your questions are answered.

You will be required to be on the GMC Specialist Register or be within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview.
