Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in breast imaging
We are looking to appoint a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in breast imaging. The job plan will include breast image reporting, localisations, ultrasound and biopsies, breast MRI and some cross sectional imaging sessions at RSCH. The Jarvis Centre will provide the opportunity to be involved in the breast screening service. The post will comprise of 7 PAs at The Royal Surrey County NHS Trust and 3 PAs undertaken at the Jarvis Breast Screening Centre.

We have the GE LOGIQ E9 ultrasound machine, the Hologic Tomosynthesis with stereotactic biopsy and the GE DS Senograph. We are looking to replace the Senograph with a second Tomosynthesis machine in 2019.
The Jarvis Breast Centre serves a population of approximately 210,000 women across Surrey and part of Hampshire. It now has a complete digital mammography system, 4 static units and 5 mobile units.
Both establishments are committed to clinical excellence, providing efficient and effective services in a patient focused environment. Radiologists, Radiographers, Advanced Practitioners, Nurses and Clerical Staff work together to provide a first class multidisciplinary team approach to healthcare.
This is a 10 programmed activity full time post and is subject to the terms and conditions of the new consultant contract. Any applicants wishing to work part-time or as a job-share will be considered and family friendly policies are in place.
