Within the Trust we have expertise in the treatment of severe asthma including systematic assessment and the use of novel biologic therapies, bronchial thermoplasty, occupational asthma, allergy, unexplained dyspnoea and upper airway conditions
The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with Expertise in Severe Asthma.
This post is a new post; it is a whole time Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with Expertise in Severe Asthma.
The appointees will join two severe asthma expert physicians to provide specialist severe asthma management, which has been commissioned by NHS England
The appointees will rotate with a second full-time asthma consultant on a one-month alternating timetable providing in-patient ward-based cover for patients with severe asthma and allied airway conditions. Applicants are required to be fully registered Medical Practitioners and must be on the GMC’s Specialist Register or be eligible for admission to the Register within six months from date of interview for the post.
