The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with expertise in Chronic Lung Infection This post is a replacement post; it is a whole time Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with Expertise in Chronic Lung Infection. This post will include caring for people with lung infections, including those with bronchiectasis, primary ciliary dyskinesia and complex lung infections with mycobacterial, bacterial or fungal organisms.
The appointee will participate in and contribute to the proper functioning and efficient running of the Respiratory Medicine Division and participate in medical audit. It is expected that the appointee will show a commitment to continuing medical education (CME) and be expected to participate in CPD and in relevant quality assurance schemes. The Trust encourages all consultants to participate in these activities by providing dedicated study leave and an annual allowance.
Applicants are required to be fully registered Medical Practitioners and must be on the GMC’s Specialist Register or be eligible for admission to the Register within six months from date of interview for the post.
