Interior Health, spans the beautiful southern interior of British Columbia, Canada and we are looking for new physicians to call our region home.
We are looking for ANAESTHETISTS to service our welcoming communities. We have the options for a urban or rural practice to provide general care for General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and also manage Multiple Trauma cases for pediatric and adult patients. Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, on a clinical services contract. Estimated income for 40 weeks of service between $545,000 (CAD) and $598,000 includes guaranteed paid for scheduled shifts (if the physician is on-site and available), protection against slate cancellations and early finishes, designated shift to provide all Out-of-OR services including PSS which is paid at the same rate as the other work, and stability in income that is not dependent on volume of cases seen. Other IH sites paid by FFS, estimated income $400,000-$500,000.
We also have an excellent opportunity for a NEUROLOGIST in either a hospital – based or community – based outpatient practice (hospital on-call coverage is expected). Experience the satisfaction of seeing patients in a well - run, established Stroke/Rehabilitation combined unit where neurologists collaborate with physiatry and a dedicated unit MRP Hospitalist. Subspecialty interests are an asset for this role – particularly in MS, Stroke, and EMG/EEG/PSG – but not necessary. You are likely to find the combination of service to build the practice you want and find the lifestyle that will suit you needs.
