We are looking for an outstanding Clinician wishing to actively develop Interventional Radiology at a Level 1 Trauma Hospital, support the centralisation of Regional Vascular Services, and contribute to the expanding non-vascular IR workload, including hepatobiliary and oncology intervention.

In addition, 2 days a week will be based at Worthing Hospital (part of Western Sussex Hospitals Trust - judged 'outstanding' by the CQC) to support local interventional radiology services as part of an established Sussex wide network model for the delivery of IR. There are many opportunities provided by working in an Acute Teaching Hospital with a strong commitment to clinical excellence,
teaching and research and high-quality patient experience. A completely new hospital, including new state of the art IR department is due to open in 2021. Successful applicants will contribute to a 1:8 regional IR on call rota and experience in embolisation techniques are essential. EVAR training can be provided on the job if required. Additional sub-speciality interests will be considered.

Demonstration of comprehensive IR training and experience will be expected.

Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals is the regional teaching hospital, providing general acute services to Brighton and Hove, and tertiary services for patients across Sussex and the South East of England. Worthing Hospital provide local services including peripheral vascular and non-vascular IR to the populations of Chichester and Worthing with a catchment area covering West Sussex.
