Vocare Ltd provides Urgent Care Services to 9.2 million patients across 52
sites in England through a skilled and committed 2000 strong workforce.
The recent acquisition of Vocare by Totally plc has brought about positive
and dynamic leadership changes to the executive and Board which
positions Vocare well to make necessary improvements and to sustainably
deliver and develop joined up services for patients.

This is an exciting opportunity and the Medical Director role brings with it
complexity, leadership challenges and opportunity, all of which you would
expect from a large provider organisation.

We are searching to secure a recognised, experienced, high calibre clinical
leader to our Medical Director role, with an unshakable commitment
to improving patient care and to developing colleagues in a changing
healthcare delivery environment. The successful candidate will be pivotal in
ensuring we evolve our integrated urgent care and out of hospital strategy,
business and service delivery to bring about improvements in quality and
outcomes for patients.

To make the necessary early and sustained impact on our workforce,
partners and stakeholders our ideal candidate will need gravitas, excellent
interpersonal skills and will need to be able visibly demonstrate their drive
and leadership capability. Board level success and leadership experience of
the NHS 111 and UCC Services would be advantageous.

Individuals will be required to travel across regions as part of their role, so a
full driving licence is essential.

Vocare are operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
and the working of various shift patterns to include weekends and public
holidays will be required within this role.
