Applicants are invited to apply for a Junior Clinical Fellow post in ENT.

This is a full time 12-month fixed term appointment.

The post holder is expected to work alongside colleagues in fulfilling the contractual requirements of the hospital. This post would afford the opportunity for training in Otology, Head and Neck, Voice and Thyroid Surgery, with specialist clinics including Dizziness, Hearing, Voice, Rhinology, Pediatrics, and Thyroid MDT's.

Main duties of the job

Between 08:00 - 17:00 you work within the ENT team. Your weekly timetable is designed to give you a range of experience. You will work with the team to co-ordinate patient care and be responsible for the assessment and care of patients under the ENT team.

This role contributes to the out of hours rota on a 1-10 rotation

Your training needs will be discussed with you upon starting with the trust, we pride ourselves on being able to offer each clinical fellow a unique experience that is catered to their own training goals.

Qualifications and Training
Essential

  • Medical Degree

Desirable

  • Minimum of 6 months full time (or equivalent part time) hospital service in the ST1-2 grade or higher
  • Minimum six months experience in ENT
  • Primary or AFRCS
