Kingsteignton Medical Practice is within a few miles of all the wonders the South Devon peninsular has to offer: dramatic coastlines, vast moorlands and easy access to nationally lauded towns and villages as well as the major cities of Exeter and Plymouth. Our team provides care for over 11,500 patients from Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot and surrounding villages and we are proud to be an Armed Forces veteran friendly accredited practice. As a training practice, we are passionate about supporting the clinical workforce of tomorrow and welcome Registrars, Medical Students, Student Nurses, Paramedic trainees and college students who are interested in a career in medicine. We have a strong alliance with local practices, including our Templer Care PCN partners, looking at different ways of working for the benefit of our local population.

We have an incredible On-The-Day team consisting of duty GPs, Minor Illness Nurses, Paramedics and a Pharmacist who reduce the GP workload for our acutely unwell patients. We are working to BMA safe working guidance and have a workflow team reducing paperwork! 

An opportunity to develop an interest in chronic disease management is welcomed.
