Alberta Health Services (AHS) is inviting applications to fill Cardiology positions throughout rural Alberta.

Location:

Our rural communities make up about 42 per cent of Alberta's population and opportunities for Cardiology practice can be found in our regional hospitals in the communities of Red Deer & Lethbridge.

Salary Details:

The average gross income of a Cardiologist in Alberta is $930,000 CAD (£516,000 GBP). Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends. Financial incentives such as reimbursable travel arrangements and relocation support may be available. 

Qualifications:

Cardiologists with a UK Certificate of Completion of Training are not required to rewrite any exams in order to be approved for accelerated licensure in Alberta, and can immediately start in independent practice.
