Job Description
Prairie Skies Medical Imaging is Regina’s largest imaging practice.
Owned by local radiologists, we have been providing comprehensive imaging services in 5 community-based clinics, two acute care hospitals and multiple Southern Saskatchewan health centres for more than 50 years.
Prairie Skies offers above average earning potential in a dynamic work environment and a diverse practice opportunity in both community and acute care facilities.
We are currently seeking full time general and sub-specialized radiologists including body-imaging, neuroradiology, interventional and women's imaging to join our growing hospital and community-based practice.
These are full time, partnership track opportunities that cover primarily daytime shifts with equitable evening and weekend call responsibilities.
Physicians may have the opportunity to teach undergraduate and post-graduate education at the University of Saskatchewan (USask). The USask campus is located on the shores of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, a city with a diverse and thriving economic base and a vibrant cultural life. USask is a research-intensive institution with 22,000 students and 7,000 faculty and staff, and a strong reputation for innovation and excellence. It is home to the newly constructed Academic Health Sciences Complex and two of the largest science projects in the country – the Canadian Light Source synchrotron and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization/International Vaccine Centre. A users group is available for collaborative research with clinical faculty using the $173.5 million Canadian Light Source synchrotron, owned by the University of Saskatchewan.
Job Qualifications
Eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) (or eligible).
International Medical Graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
Incentives
Interventional Radiologists and Breast Radiologists may be eligible for a C$200,000 incentive.
