Job Details
Job overview The appointment is for a fixed term period of three years, after a probationary period of 6 months.
Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, London or equivalent qualification is essential. EDAIC and FCAI are acceptable
Interested applicants must have minimum of four years anaesthetic experience. These are non-training posts and do not have deanery approval for training.
Main duties of the job The duties of this post are equivalent to a senior post-fellowship specialist registrar including out of hours work in anaesthesia and intensive care with local or distant supervision.
The appointee will be based in HUTH and has opportunities to gain experience in a wide range of Anaesthetic specialties and undertake audit/QI project with the support of the department. The elective anaesthetic specialties include but are not limited to airway, head and neck, regional, obstetrics, paediatrics, Neuro, cardiac, vascular, major GI surgery, robotic surgery and plastics.
