This post will help meet the growing demand in GI, GU and oncological imaging and the associated intervention.

The appointee will add to a current team of 5 radiologists with an interest in non-vascular intervention as well as providing additional support to the cross sectional imaging service.

The appointee will contribute to the delivery of a range of interventional services across the two main hospital sites, including biopsies and drainages, renal access and stenting, biliary intervention and GI stenting. There will be opportunity to participate in at least one of the MDT/imaging meetings and a contribution to the acute CT service.  Job plan may also include body MRI and/or ultrasound dependent on interests. There may be scope to pursue or develop additional interests, including vascular intervention.

HUTH is an exemplar site for interventional radiology and is home to the longest running percutaneous renal tumour ablation service in the UK and also boasts one of the largest percutaneous biliary interventional services.

The appointee will take part in a dedicated 1:6 on call for non-vascular intervention.
