Mater Private Network Cork is Ireland’s fastest growing private hospital. Our mission is to improve the health and lives of the people we are privileged to serve. At Mater Private Cork we take pride in being at the cutting edge of private healthcare in Ireland. We specialise in caring for patients with cardiac, vascular, eye, orthopaedic and spinal conditions. We are a JCI-accredited hospital, which is the highest Quality Care standard in healthcare. Mater Private Cork recently became the first hospital in Ireland to be awarded the new, inaugural 7th Edition Gold Standard from the Joint Commission International, marking the third consecutive accreditation of the site. Our state-of-the-art facility continues to add new specialities and services, including a Centre for Women’s Health in May 2022 and an Outpatient Centre in 2024. Moreover, in 2024, we will open an Intensive Care unit and develop an acute floor to include a new and improved Emergency department and Urgent Cardiac Care service.
This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated Consultants to join our dynamic and diverse team. We are looking for Consultants with expertise, flexibility, and drive, to work alongside the most talented nurses and allied health professionals at Mater Private Network in Cork.
We seek General Internal Medicine Consultants in the following specialist interest areas:
- Consultants - Respiratory
- Consultants - Rheumatology
- Consultant – Endocrinology
- Consultant – Nephrology
Other speciality interest applicants are also invited.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners as maintained by the Irish Medical Council.
- Excellent written and oral English skills essential.
- Irish or UK experience preferred, not essential.
