We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individuals to take up these posts. The posts are based primarily at Whipps Cross University Hospital.
Main duties of the job

Applications are invited for two fixed term Consultant posts with a specialist interest in Glaucoma.
We are seeking 2 highly motivated and dynamic individuals to take up these posts. The posts are based primarily at Whipps Cross University Hospital.
These are full time replacement posts within a busy Ophthalmic unit. The successful candidates will join an established and professional multi- disciplinary Ophthalmic team.
We would expect the successful post holders to take an active part in managing and developing the service, to ensure of the delivery of quality care, and to support an active training programme.
Whipps Cross Hospital is in the process of substantial redevelopment, which makes this an exciting time to join and help to influence the delivery of future Ophthalmic care.

- FRCOphth or equivalent
- Glaucoma fellowship or ASTO
Desirable
- Experience as a Consultant with sub-specialty interest in Glaucoma
- Higher degree, Academic prizes

- Competent in managing glaucoma and primary care eye conditions
- Competent in cataract surgery
- Competent in glaucoma filtration and glaucoma shunt surgery
- Competent with MIGS
