The post provides unmatched experience and skills necessary for consolidating confidence and supporting evidence for CESR applications (for overseas candidates). As we are co-located with Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital, there may be opportunity to focus on and enhance experience in desired subspeciality domains.

The post promises excellent training in Neonatology with first-class facilities and IT, research experience, opportunities to develop skills in management in governance, a friendly atmosphere and close working arrangements with highly trained neonatal nurses, allied health professionals and many other specialists.

It is essential that applicants have a minimum of six months' previous experience in tertiary Neonates in the UK or Ireland. Full MRCPCH or equivalent level is highly desirable.

Main duties of the job

To provide a clinical service in Neonatal Medicine and Surgery, to provide cover for labour ward and the postnatal wards, and to work closely with the Consultants, other middle-grade and junior-grade doctors, nurse practitioners and nursing staff.
