Department work consists of diagnosis of both benign and malignant hematologic conditions, bone marrow and flow cytometry interpretation and oversight of both the hematology and transfusion medicine laboratories. We offer an extensive range of investigations in special coagulation and red cell disorders. The transfusion medicine service provides coverage within Regina and support to the southern part of the province, through the Provincial Transfusion Medicine Consultation Service. In addition to clinical services, it is expected that the successful candidate will participate and be actively involved in on call requirements.
