Applications are invited for the post of a full-time paediatric radiologist at the Department of Radiology at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Department forms part of one of the most dynamic University Teaching Hospitals in the country, with an excellent reputation in patient care, research and development, and staff training/education.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities of this post include reporting paediatric imaging, specifically performing ultrasound and fluoroscopy, participating in specialist paediatric on call and supporting MDTs, teaching and research.Job plan flexibility with consideration of extended working hours would be desirable.

Qualifications
Essential
- FRCR or equivalent.
- Accreditation in Clinical Radiology and on the specialist register at or within 6 months of the AAC
- Full GMC registration
Desirable
- MRCP/FRCS
Aptitudes
Essential
- Good communicator.
- Capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Enthusiasm for service development and teaching.
Desirable
- Previous responsibility for service improvement.
Experience
Essential
- Experience in all aspects of paediatric radiology as documented by specialist training or experience at consultant level.
- Willingness to contribute to the general workload of the department.
- Awareness of the role of research in clinical practice.
Desirable
- Completed specialist Fellowship
- Complimentary second area of specialist interest
- Experience in research or published papers in area of special interest
Circumstances
Essential
- Flexible outlook on working hours.
- Must live within a 15-mile radius of the base Trust or 30 minutes travelling time.
- Full Driving License.

- Ability to communicate effectively with clinical colleagues and support staff across the organisation.
