CONSULTANT OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Special Interest in Paediatric Ophthalmology

(Part-time, 8 sessions)

Ophthalmology Department, Ninewells Hospital

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our forward-looking and innovative clinical team.

The Department of Ophthalmology based at Ninewells Hospital is well established within the region and organisation.  As well as delivering Ophthalmology services within a university and teaching hospital environment, a wide range of subspecialty interests have been developed to national and international acclaim. The successful applicant will benefit from working in a stunning brand-new paediatric theatre complex. Current and ongoing service review and redesign offers excellent opportunities for a dynamic individual to develop professionally with the existing supportive and successful team of consultants.

This post is available on a part time basis up to 8 sessions per week.

You must be registered with the General Medical Council and hold a Licence to Practice

Hours of work are:  32 hours

*Interviews are scheduled to take place on – Monday the 1st July 2024

*Applicants must be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT or CESR (CP) at the date of interview for the post.
