A little bit about us…

Augmentive: Leading the Way in Personalised Mental Health Care

Augmentive is at the forefront of developing personalised mental health care in the UK, centred around our CQC-regulated psychiatry clinic. Our clinic is led by Sarah Norman (Co-Founder and Registered Manager) and Dr. Chetna Kang (Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Director).

The Platform: Our secure platform enables each patient to find and access personalised care from the right specialist at the right time. As a clinician providing care through our platform, you will be equipped with powerful, yet easy-to-use technology and comprehensive administrative support, allowing you to focus on what you do best. Additionally, you will benefit from an extensive referral network including hundreds of psychologists and therapists who are accessible through Augmentive. Our team is on hand to ensure that your patients have a smooth experience throughout their care pathway, maintaining a personal touch at every step.

Our Success: The Augmentive ecosystem is flourishing, with bookings increasing by over 1,250% in 2022, a momentum that continued through 2023. We are proud to make an increasingly meaningful impact on the UK's mental health crisis. Quality is at the core of everything we do, with over 97% of patients giving their specialist a positive recommendation post-appointment. Augmentive is rated 'Excellent' on TrustPilot. Based in Central London, Augmentive is a family-owned company backed by passionate, experienced investors, including Venrex, the venture capital firm that invested early in successful businesses like Revolut, Charlotte Tilbury, and JustEat.

Our Clients: We primarily deliver care to private, self-funded individuals but also provide corporate employees with access to high-quality, tailored mental wellbeing support. We are delighted to have supported companies such as Multiverse, Net-A-Porter, and Buchanan. As part of our clinic, you will have opportunities to contribute to thought leadership pieces and deliver psycho-education.

Our Mission: We are deeply driven by the need to make it easier to access effective mental health support. The company was formed after witnessing the terrible impact of slow or ineffective systems. Since then, we have created a groundbreaking platform designed to deliver optimal clinical outcomes as efficiently as possible. Our leadership team has a profound understanding of the mental health field and state-of-the-art technology development. We are now looking to expand our clinical team and deliver top-quality care on a larger scale.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Specialist registration with the General Medical Council and a licence to practise
  • Minimum 3 years experience as substantive NHS Consultant
  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
  • Approved Clinician status
  • Registration for CPD with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and in good standing
  • Proficiency in psychopharmacology
  • Experience in neurodevelopmental psychiatry, specifically ADHD and Autism, is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality psychiatric care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence.
  • Experience in a private practice setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficiency in using digital health platforms and technology is a plus.

Join us in our mission to improve access to premier private psychiatric services. We look forward to the possibility of working with you.

Work Schedule:

Variable, take on a caseload and schedule that works for you. You would have practicing privileges at our clinic.
