Applications are invited for an enthusiastic colleague to be part of a dedicated team of Acute Physicians, providing Consultant cover for our dynamic and well supported departments across both our Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford sites. The successful physician will be supporting our Acute medical unit, Ambulatory unit / SDEC, Short stay unit and occasionally in-reach into our emergency department. They will be responsible for providing high quality clinical leadership in acute medicine patient care, junior doctor training and undergraduate medical education.

We also support colleagues who are looking to have additional or part of their DCC activity in other specialities including, for example, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Diabetes & Endocrinology, Care of Elderly etc. 

There is a fantastic opportunity to join undergraduate medical students teaching faculty or take on the leadership roles in management and education across the Trust. 

The Trust also has an excellent reputation in teaching and research, and candidates with interests in these fields will be supported to continue this work.
