We are the largest Healthcare Charity in the UK, join us as at our West End Medical Centre and play your part in building a healthier nation.

Why become a GP at Nuffield Health?

As a GP and Health Assessment Doctor at Nuffield Health you’ll benefit from more time getting to know your patients as people whilst carrying out thorough health assessments and private GP consultations. You’ll have time to pay attention to the little things that really count, in a low-stress, patient-focused environment.

We’ll maximise your time to focus on providing first class preventative and primary care to your patients. We’ll underpin your precious time with protected administration time, and a commitment to protected learning time.

Whether you’re seeking full time or part time hours we make sure that everything is wrapped up between 9am - 6pm to help with a healthy work-life balance.

Your role at Nuffield Health

Working alongside our experienced Health and Wellbeing Physiologists, you’ll deliver a variety of face to face Health Assessments and GP consultations, with a focus on wellbeing and the ability to monitor patient outcomes in a safe environment. No quotas or unrealistic targets - just great care. You’ll utilise our user friendly platforms and benefit from enhanced pathways whilst having access to our state-of-the-art clinics and a national network of hospitals.

There are also opportunities to contribute to our charitable purpose through our flagship programmes, where we work in partnership with the NHS, other healthcare providers, research institutes and charities.

As a GP and Health Assessment Doctor, you will be

  • GMC registered GP on the GP register.

  • Willing to provide a minimum of 2 days per week.

  • Licenced to practice and have a minimum of 6 months GP experience (minimum 4 sessions per week) in the UK (private or NHS) with knowledge of UK care pathways. The 6 months GP experience must be in a traditional GP setting (NHS GP surgery). Any other work including out of hours work will not be counted.

  • Competent in a range of health screening services, such as smear tests, breast examinations and venepuncture, as well interpreting results and ECGs.
