Applications are invited for Senior Clinical Fellow in Neuroanaesthesia starting as soon as possible for 12 months.

Main duties of the job

The post offers the opportunity to develop and increase anaesthetic experience in Neuroanaesthesia prior to taking up a consultant post. The level of supervision will be tailored to your prior experience with the ultimate aim of independent practice with distant supervision, so to work at junior consultant level with senior consultant support. You will provide anaesthesia and post-operative follow-up for major neurosurgical cases. These will be initially directly supervised by a consultant neuroanaesthetist, with whom they are expected to discuss the cases, moving on to independent practice with indirect supervision from a consultant neuroanaesthetist once appropriate.

In order to be considered applicants must meet the essential criteria as detailed in the person specification.

Please note that these posts do not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.

Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
