Salaried GP

We are a thriving practice of over 9500 patients, with a friendly, experienced and supportive clinical team of six GPs, four practice nurses and two HCAs.

We are a member practice of the Templer Care Primary Care Network and through this organisation we also benefit from paramedic, nurse associate and pharmacy support, as well as a dedicated wellbeing team led by a mental health ACP. The practice places high importance on collaboration and the sharing of ideas, clinical or otherwise – we include morning coffee as part of our working day, and utilise an MDT approach for proactive patient care.

We have a long history as a training practice, with GP registrars and medical students from the University of Exeter Medical School. We are highly regarded by our patients, as shown by the most recent National Patient Survey results. We have a high QOF achievement and benefit from several of our GPs having clinical interests outside of primary care. Newton Abbot is ideally situated to make the most of everything Devon has to offer, sitting between Dartmoor National Park and the South Devon Coast.
