Consultant Non-Interventional Cardiologist

Gleneagles JPMC is a joint venture between the Government of Brunei Darussalam and IHH Healthcare Berhad, one of the world’s largest listed healthcare operators. It is the only world-class tertiary Cardiac Centre in the Sultanate. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, Gleneagles JPMC is at the forefront of providing excellent cardiac care services.

The center performs about 1200 coronary angiograms and over 800 angioplasty procedures every year, including a 24-hour Primary PCI service. We have a comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular laboratory which has a full range of non-invasive testing modalities. Each year we perform almost 5000 transthoracic echocardiogram and 300 transesophageal echocardiograms. The center also performs a wide range of EP procedures, device implantations including over 90 EP studies/ ablation and about 80 device implants as well as TAVI and peripheral interventions.

Consultant Non-Interventional Cardiologist

Key Requirements:

1. Board certified (US), CCT (UK) or equivalent qualification in Cardiology
2. Proof of sub-specialty training in Non-Interventional Cardiology
3. Registrable with the Brunei Medical Board
4. Completion of training and competency in Echocardiography preferred
5. Additional training and competency in Cardiac Imaging, Heart Failure or Cardiac Rehabilitation preferred
