Job Details
The successful candidate will be expected to integrate into the working of the respiratory department but also to develop their own interests. We are looking to attract an enthusiastic candidate with leadership qualities and a wide experience of respiratory and general medicine.
We would be keen to support any specialist clinical, academic or educational interests that the successful candidate has. The job plan is illustrative of current working and the unscheduled care group / respiratory department would be happy to work with the successful candidate to finalise a job plan that meets the needs of the trust and satisfies the interests and skillset of the candidate. We are particularly keen to employ a candidate with an interest in lung cancer and skills in bronchoscopy/endobronchial ultrasound or pleural procedures to enhance our existing rota.
Currently, the post holder will be expected to do most of their clinical work at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital site, however due to plans of reconfiguration of the hospital's acute service, there will be an expectation that the job plan in the future will involve work at both hospital sites.
