Barwon Health is now looking to recruit a Head of Unit – Radiation Oncology to provide leadership to the Radiation Oncology unit ensuring safe, high-quality care. A senior leader within the Medicine, Specialist Medicine, and Emergency Medicine division the Head of Unit is responsible for planning and developing the radiation oncology service at Barwon Health to make sure it continues to meet the needs of the community. 

Reporting to the Director of Cancer Services, and with direct line management for Radiation Oncologists, the Chief Radiation Therapist, and the Chief Physicist you would be responsible for providing cohesive leadership and strategic direction in relation to the work of the Radiation Oncology team.

Your proven track record of experience in providing strategic and operational leadership in a senior medical role in the oncology field and your commitment to quality of care will support you in delivering an excellent radiation oncology service. You will have advanced communication skills, the ability to develop team culture and maintain high standards of care.
