An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in Paediatric Ophthalmology to join our forward-looking and innovative clinical team fixed term until February 2024.
The Department of Ophthalmology based at Ninewells Hospital is well established within the region and organisation. As well as delivering Ophthalmology services within a university and teaching hospital environment, a wide range of sub specialty interests have been developed to national and international acclaim. The successful applicant will benefit from working in a stunning brand new paediatric theatre complex as well as having future opportunities to work in a planned new elective care National Treatment Centre, situated in Perth. Current and ongoing service review and redesign offers excellent opportunities for a dynamic individual to develop professionally with the existing supportive and successful team of Consultants.
This post is available on a part time basis working 2 PA’s per week (Alternating 2 PA’s/4PA’s per week)
You must be registered with the *General Medical Council and hold a Licence to Practice * General Dental Council
