St Richard’s Hospice and Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust (HWHCT) are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic consultant in Palliative Medicine 0.8 WTE. Employed, line managed and clinically supervised by HWHCT, this post is funded by and based at St Richard’s Hospice, Worcester.

The post holder will join three Palliative Medicine consultants employed by the Trust, forming a supportive team who provide inpatient and community care across the county, participating in a Cat A 1:7 on-call rota.

The successful candidate will work clinically across hospice inpatient services and an area of South Worcestershire community. As clinical director they will be responsible for patients under the care of the hospice, providing leadership and line management to a team of experienced and junior doctors, and an active member of hospice management.
