The Colorectal unit has SACapproval for three, year 5/6 trainees.

The colorectal unit sees approximately 250 cancers each year. We enjoy a close working relationship with the departments of histopathology, radiology, oncology, palliative care and gastroenterology. The unit has electronic data on all cancers and all laparoscopic operations.

All members of the colorectal department perform laparoscopic colorectal surgery. They have extensive experience in surgical training and are faculty members of a number of laparoscopic courses at home and overseas.
