Salaried GP Outreach Service/ Deprivation medicine.

We are a friendly supportive team, committed to delivering excellent primary care services to disadvantaged populations, embracing a trauma informed approach. We have close links to the Peninsula Medical School.

You will be well supported by our clinical team of experienced GPs and Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Paramedic, excellent Nursing and Admin teams.

We work closely with the Outreach service, providing GP led clinics for homeless population and other clients with complex lives (currently at Shekinah Mission and George House) along with Plymouth’s Harbour Drug and Alcohol Services.

There is opportunity to develop skills in addiction medicine and further training is provided as required. We are a training practice delivering both medical student and GP registrar teaching. This post also complements Deep End Fellowship roles available with Plymouth University. The work is interesting and rewarding.

This is an opportunity to develop specialist skills and support portfolio career development. The sessions are flexible depending on experience.
