Director of Postgraduate Education for General Practice
This is an NHS appointment through HEIW. Minimum of 8 sessions per week.
HEIW is the Statutory Education body for Wales. It has a leading role in the education, training, development and shaping of the healthcare workforce in Wales, ensuring we have the right staff, with the right skills, to deliver world- class healthcare to the people of Wales both now and in the future.
The Director of Postgraduate Education for General Practice is a crucial role which will support the Postgraduate Medical Dean/Deputy Responsible Officer to work across the spectrum of health and, where relevant, social care, within the wider team, so that the provision of Primary Care Education and Training is reflected in the changing service models and delivers an integrated workforce.
Welsh Language skills are not essential for this role.
