An opportunity has arisen to be part of a team of dynamic neurorehabilitation service providers, based across 2 sites in Coventry and Warwickshire (C& W).
The post holder will join a team of 5 consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine with responsibility for Level 1b and 2b activity and major trauma rehabilitation work. The work is supported by Clinical Research Fellows and a Senior Specialty Registrar. Active involvement in the weekly complex case discussions and joint PDOC expert physicians meeting.
Main duties of the job
CCT or CESR in Rehabilitation Medicine or within 6 months of being on the GMC specialist register with a special interest in neurorehabilitation and major trauma rehabilitation. This is a 10 PA post with additional 1 in 5 on-call commitment. We welcome applications from candidates willing to work maximum part time.
About us
South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWUFT) hosts the Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU) based at Leamington Spa Rehabilitation Hospital. CERU is a 30 level-1and 12 level- 2 neurorehabilitation unit.
SWUFT partners with UHCW in providing neurological rehabilitation input into the major trauma centre at UHCW and is seeking to appoint a new consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine with special interest in neurorehabilitation and major trauma injuries.
