NHS Tayside has a vacancy for a full time Locum Consultant in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology for a period of twelve months. The post is full time and was created to support the teaching of undergraduate students and provide a comprehensive dental and maxillofacial radiology service with sessions at Ninewells Hospital as part of the head & neck imaging service.

There are opportunities for involvement in research and the successful candidate will have an appropriate honorary contract with the University of Dundee.

 It is expected that the successful candidate will be actively involved with the didactic teaching of the dental and oral health science undergraduates and be a clinical trainer for specialty registrars in DMFR and dental core trainees.  

All applicants must be fully registered with the General Dental Council and be on the Specialist List for Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology or be within six months of being awarded their CCST.
