Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two community-based palliative medicine Consultants to join our team. These posts are intended to focus on developing the integration of community specialist palliative care services in both Hull and East Riding localities with community services and specialist palliative care partners. The opportunity has emerged from a vacancy arising from a previous post and additional innovations in delivery of community services for example, through the virtual ward model. The post holders will join an existing team of consultants in Palliative Medicine who are employed by Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) to provide Palliative Medicine input to the acute hospital, Dove House Hospice & Hull and East Riding community services. The post holders will be predominantly based in the community with sessions in the hospice and/or hospital to promote integrated working.
