Full time - 10 sessions per weeks

Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon post with
an interest in Breast Reconstruction and Microsurgery.

The successful applicant should be fully trained in all aspects of plastic
surgery and have a sub specialist interest in microsurgical breast
reconstruction. The post-holder will be expected to participate in the
service, assisting colleagues with other key specialties including trauma,
perineal reconstruction, skin, and contributing to the general furtherance
of our Plastics Surgery Business Unit – which already has an outstanding
reputation, both nationally and internationally, for highly specialised
services, including tertiary facial palsy, breast surgery, melanoma and
complex hand injuries.

Applicants must hold the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons or
equivalent, and have completed a period of higher professional training,
including a microsurgery fellowship. Applicants should possess the
Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent, or be within six
months of CCT at time of application.

This post is fixed term for 6 months with the possibility of extending to
12 months.
