We are inviting applications for the role of Consultant Paediatric Radiologist with an interest in Radionuclide Radiology (Proleptic) based in the Radiology Department at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
This post, specifically named as GOSH Charity Consultant - Clinical Impact Leader has been funded by GOSH Charity for the first two years to support supernumerary specialist consultant training opportunities and succession development within this specialty in anticipation of onsite PET scanning at GOSH as part of the forthcoming Cancer Care Centre development.
For the first two years after this appointment, the successful candidate will undergo training in Paediatric Radionuclide Radiology based between GOSH and Imperial College London, whilst maintaining and developing skills and experience for General Paediatric Radiology at GOSH. There is also an expectation of some research commitment during this period.
Provided the training is complete, at the end of this period, the successful candidate will become a substantive consultant In Paediatric Radiology and Radionuclide Radiology at GOSH.
The successful candidate will demonstrate competency in all aspects of Paediatric Diagnostic Radiology (excluding neuroradiology) including plain radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, MRI and CT.
Main duties of the job
