Do you want to take back control of your GP working life and complete our team?

NHS Tayside are seeking a committed, General Practitioner (GP) to help deliver sustainable services to meet the needs of the changing demographics and health needs of our population in Lochee, Dundee.

Working 22 hours per week (20 hours clinical over 2 days and 2 hours CPD)

  • Well organised 2c NHS Tayside practice looking for a 4 session GP to complete our dynamic team We have a fun and hard-working team lead together by our full time practice manager and Clinical Lead GP Further supported by our enthusiastic team of 6 GPs with a range of clinical interests Excellent & fully staffed nursing team with full responsibility for CDMs Fantastic administration team with efficient systems to average Docman <10 items daily/clinician on site We are Practice Lead within Cluster 3 and engage in a range of Quality Improvement Programmes (QIP) GPs have control over day to day workload – 15min appointment for 8 same day consultations, 2 GP bookable review consultations and time thereafter for any face to face appointments / tasks Shared duty doctor system and low home visit rate averaging 1-2 daily for the whole practice Twice daily huddle for coffee and protected meetings for clinical and team development Lochee Health & Community Centre is a community hub in central Dundee with additional on-site services for clinicians to engage patients into; health and wellbeing, physiotherapy, pharmacotherapy, podiatry, community care and treatment service Newly redeveloped health board premises with 25 clinical rooms and state of the art IT and teleconferencing facilities – personal laptop available to allow any remote working We are proud to provide quality care aimed at addressing health inequalities and plan to increase our focus on engaging patients in their healthcare decisions We are leaders in medical student education and plan to develop training for ANP and GPs in future
