Applications are invited for a newly created post in our expanded eating disorders specialist service in Fife.  The position is based within the Eating Disorders Advanced Intervention Team (EDAIT).  The post is supported by recovery and renewal funds invested in eating disorders services, and is part of a number of newly created multi disciplinary posts within this team in addition supported by a training strategy.

The EDAIT service covers Fife wide and is based in Cardenden, between Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy, with good public transport links.  EDAIT work with people experiencing moderate to severe difficulties.  The team works closely with the Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) and Adult Services Clinical Psychology to provide a range of intensive assessment, treatment and specialist consultancy.  Inpatient care for people with eating disorders is provided by the Regional Eating Disorder Unit (REDU) based at St John's Hospital in Livingston, and the EDAIT service has close links with this service.

This post is for 9 PAs however applicants interested in full-time pattern of working are also invited to approach the service for discussion to explore opportunities for additional PAs.

UK trained candidates must be on the specialist register or within 6 months of an approved CCT at the date of interview.  Non UK candidates must have confirmation from the GMC that CESR has been awarded at the date of application.
