An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Acute Medicine Department at Jersey General Hospital. We are looking to appoint a dynamic-forward thinking consultant in acute medicine to join the Acute Medicine Team.
The service comprises of a 25 bed Acute Assessment Unit featuring 5 enhanced care beds and an Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit. The post holder will work across both the AAU and the AEC.
Working pattern: 10 PAs with participation in the on-call rota.
Generous study leave budget.
Full travelling expenses are paid from a UK port of entry, with a generous relocation package available.
The post attracts residential qualifications and Jersey has excellent affordable private education for children. Under Jersey Law, applicants must possess FULL registration with the General Medical Council and hold a license to practice.
As this position will work with vulnerable people, the selection process will involve safeguarding measures and include an enhanced DBS check.
