The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is on an improvement journey, determined to improve quality and sustainability of services for our local population. Our Strategy sets out an ambitious but realistic journey over the next 5 years with key milestones being the implementation of the Cerner EPR in 2023-24 and the opening of a new hospital on the Hillingdon site in 2027-28.

If you are up for a challenge and want to expand your breadth and range of experience and skills, this is the job for you.

We are looking for an exceptional clinical leader who has a passion for excellence and wants to make a difference in a challenging and complex environment. You will be able to assimilate into the role rapidly, building on the strong foundations created by the current Chief Medical Officer. You will be determined but compassionate, action orientated, have a talent for inspiring and motivating teams, with a track-record of delivery.

You will have had experience of driving quality and safety improvements in a complex environment, working with senior leadership teams and boards, with the ability to establish strong working relationships across systems and inspire doctors and dentists to deliver and improve the care we offer our patients.

You will have the strength of character and experience to hold your own with colleagues in the NWL Acute Collaborative seeking opportunities to strengthen and develop clinical services locally and across the four acute trusts as well as working with partners to ensure care is provided in an integrated way.
